I want to be a happy idiot,

And drift through the countryside.

Remembering all that was good and was best,

Even though you may not be at my side.

There is a path that is written for us all,

Where it leads us defines who we are.

So relax, let it go, let it be, and be free.

We all can be all that we want

All we need is just to see

Find yourself and you have what you need

If a child can see it, so can we.

I want to stop the world for a day,

And remind it that there is a better way.

End the wars, the hate, and the blame

Giving us all a much needed rest.

On the morning following that

We could start over without all the lies

And relax, let it go, let it be, and be free.

We all can be all that we want

All we need is just to see
